Ladleby is a family recipe app. We try to collect as little as possible and we don’t sell your data. Ever.

What we store

• Your household — the household name you choose, a hashed password, and an optional recovery email.
• Your content — the recipes, notes, meal plans, and shopping lists you add. These belong to your household and are shared across the devices signed into it.
• Usage counts — how many AI imports, chats, and images your household has used in a month, so we can apply plan limits.

AI features

When you import a recipe, chat with Roux, or generate an image, the relevant text or image is sent to our AI providers (currently Google and OpenAI) to produce the result. We don’t use your recipes to train models, and we only send what’s needed for the feature you asked for.

Payments

Pro subscriptions are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Your card details go to them, not to us; we only receive your plan status.

Cookies

We use a single sign-in cookie to keep your household logged in. No third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Your choices

You can delete recipes any time. To delete your household entirely, or for any privacy question, email hello@ladleby.com.
